WE BELIEVEEvery Child is Brilliant. Without Exception.

We believe that each student at Arise Christian Academy will discover their unique path that leaves a lasting impact on the world. Our Trailblazers are self-directed learners who revel in the joy of discovery within a close-knit community committed to the utmost standards of excellence.
OUR BELIEFS

The Scriptures: We believe that the Bible is the Word of God. It is inspired by Him and stands as an infallible source of truth. It is our authority and guide for faith and how we should live our daily lives. (2 Timothy 3:16-17, Deuteronomy 4:1-2, 2 Peter 1:20-21, and John 5:39)

The Trinity: God eternally exists as one essence in three distinct persons: the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit, each possessing equal power and authority yet fulfilling unique roles. (Deuteronomy 6:4-5, Matthew 28:19, , and 2 Corinthians 13:14)

  • We believe God the Father is omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, immutable, and holy. He maintains everything with His powerful word and grace, demonstrating supreme control over all aspects of creation, providence, and salvation. (Colossians 1:17, Jer. 32:17 1 John 3:19-20, and Psalm 139:7-10)
  • We believe Jesus Christ the Son is fully divine and fully human. He led a sinless life to fulfill God’s requirements for humanity. His victory over death through resurrection ensures eternal life for believers. (John 1:1, 14, Isaiah 7:14, and 1 Timothy 3:16)
  • We believe the Holy Spirit affirms our relationship with Christ, leads believers into all truth, glorifies Christ, and convicts individuals of sin, righteousness, and judgment. He provides peace, spiritual gifts, and gives us a desire to be more like Christ. (John 16:13, Titus 3:5, Romans 8:9-17, and Galatians 5:25)

Salvation: Through the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ on the cross, humanity is offered salvation by grace, through faith, marking the only path to forgiveness of sins. This salvation cannot be earned by human deeds but is a free gift from God. (John 3:16, Romans 10:9-10, and Luke 1:68-69)

Prayer: Prayer enables direct communication with God, made accessible to all believers through Jesus’ salvation. His sacrifice tore the barrier between us and our Father, eliminating the need for any mediator other than Christ Himself. (Psalm 50:15, Philippians 4:6-7, and John 14:14)

The Sanctity of Marriage & Gender: Marriage, as ordained by Scripture, is a lifelong union between one man and one woman. (Genesis 2:18-25). Scripture mandates that sexual relations be confined within the marriage of one man and one woman (1 Corinthians 7:2-5). God uniquely designs each individual as male or female, a distinction that mirrors God’s own nature (Genesis 1:26-27). To deny or resist one’s biological gender is, in essence, to reject the aspect of God’s image bestowed upon an individual. Scripture asserts that practices such as homosexuality, bisexuality, adultery, and pornography, as well as efforts to alter one’s birth gender, are contrary to God’s design and commands (1 Corinthians 6:9-10).

Forgiveness: We also believe in the power of redemption and the possibility of forgiveness through confession, repentance, and the grace of God through Jesus Christ.

Furthermore, we advocate for treating everyone with compassion, love, kindness, respect, and dignity, in accordance with Jesus’s teachings. Any behavior or attitude lacking these qualities towards others is deemed unacceptable, as it does not align with Scripture or the values of Arise Christian Academy.
